"Leila" rejected Islam but was afraid to seek answers to her questions about Christ. Then Jesus appeared to her in a dream, which gave her courage to read the New Testament. After meeting with another believer, she overcome her fear and put her trust and faith in Christ. Pray for her roots to go deep in Him and that she will reach out to others.

every family blessed

“Remember His covenant forever…” (1 Chronicles 16:15). This verse refers to God’s promise to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob and it specifically notes the promise of land. But we must also remember that this very same covenant included that all families of the earth would be blessed through them. Father, may all of us, including our Tunisian brothers and sisters, always remember Your global covenant with the patriarchs fulfilled in Jesus.

Today is Martyrs’ Day in Tunisia, which commemorates the deaths of over 20 Tunisians in a pre-Independence fight for freedom from France in 1938. Certainly they remember those who died in the revolution of 2011 as well.
