“Blessed be God, because He has not rejected my prayer or removed His steadfast love from me!” (Psalm 66:20). Bless You, O God, because You hear us when we cry out to You with an ear of enduring love. We rejoice that You hear the prayers of Tunisians too, as they seek You with all their hearts.
“The plans of the diligent lead surely to abundance, but everyone who is hasty comes only to poverty” (Proverbs 21:5). Perhaps due to a lack of hope, Tunisians are not well known for having a strong work ethic. God, we pray that those who follow Jesus in Tunisia will be characterized by an integrity and diligence in their work that stands out among the people.
Upon being asked why or when they decided to become a Muslim, Tunisians often don’t know how to respond and explain that their parents and grandparents were Muslims. They are simply raised Muslims without questioning, seeking, or verifying truth claims. Lord, raise up in Tunisia an honorable passion to pursue You, without any fear or shame of genuinely seeking the truth.
