go and tell

Just as Jesus instructed the Gerasenes man to “Go home to your own people and tell them how much the Lord has done for you, and how he has had mercy on you” (Mark 5:19), may Tunisian Christians boldly tell their friends and family about what Jesus has done in their lives.

Medenine: interceding for Tunisian states (governorates)

Pray today for the Tunisian state of Medenine on the Libyan border. Ask the Father to raise up house churches here that would be the seeds of transformation that impact the spiritual climate on both sides of border in a desert land.

beyond imagination

“Great is the Lord and most worthy of praise; his greatness no one can fathom” (Psalm 145:3).Your greatness over Tunisia and the whole world is beyond our imagination, and we praise you for your eternal and perfect purposes that will come to pass over this nation.

a new direction

Holy God, I pray that You would grant genuine repentance to Tunisians, a repentance that will cause them to hate sin, turn from it, and run to You (Luke 13:1-3).

What does God lead you to pray as you consider this picture of Tunisia?

Many people make their living working in one-room or roadside shops selling miscellaneous items. Please pray as you reflect on this picture.

reach Libya

Through the ongoing events taking place in Libya over the last several months, Tunisia has been overflowing, in some regions, with Libyan citizens. Pray that both the events in Libya and the greater access to the Gospel in Tunisia (i.e. open websites, Tunisian believers) will powerfully transform the harsh spiritual climate of Libya, which has been aggressively resistant to the Gospel for so long.

moving out

“After they had fasted and prayed, they placed their hands on them and sent them off” (Acts 13:3). Pray that God would lead Tunisian Christians to move to cities where there are few or no believers with the intention of sharing the Gospel and starting house churches.

religious leaders

"Crispus, the ruler of the synagogue, believed in the Lord, together with his entire household" (Acts 18:8). God, we praise you for the imams (Islamic relgious leaders) who have turned to Christ in Tunisia. We pray for all their families to follow.

Manouba: interceding for Tunisian states (governorates)

As one of the main Tunisian states near the capital, many taxi drivers live in Manouba. Pray for fruitful interactions with Christian passengers who will point these men and their families to the truth. Pray for seeking hearts in this state of over 1/3 million people.

election day tomorrow

“For there is no authority except from God, and those that exist have been instituted by God” (Romans 13:1b). Tomorrow is a monumental day as Tunisians will be electing officials who will rewrite their government’s constitution. Let’s agree together that His Kingdom, which is not of this world, would advance throughout the nation and to the ends of the earth, even through these events.

face down worship

“And when they heard that the Lord was concerned about them and had seen their misery, they bowed down and worshiped” (Exodus 4:31). Father may the people of Tunisia come to know that you are so concerned about them you sent your Son to die in their place. May this lead them to bow down and worship you.

elections

“He changes times and seasons; he deposes kings and raises up others” (Daniel 2:21). As Tunisians prepare to elect representatives this month who will rewrite their constitution, pray that God would have His way. Pray that God would raise up a government that could most be used to hasten a church planting movement.

the Risen Lord

“For to this end Christ died and lived again, that He might be Lord both of the dead and of the living” (Romans 14:9). Oh God, that Tunisians would know the truth of Christ’s death and resurrection on their behalf. Father, that they would see His lordship over all things.
